Alternatives At the End of History
with Michael Grasso
Alternatives at the End of History is an "impressionistic musical bildungsroman" presented by Mike Grasso.
Mike examines the rise and fall of "alternative music" in the States from the end of the '80s to the mid-'90s alongside the events of his own adolescence and young adulthood and the political realignments happening at the end of the Cold War.
Every episode of the series focuses on a single album as a jumping-off point and is preceded by a mix of music inspired by that album.
